In many countries, there are too few blood donors to provide everyone with reliable access to safe blood. Facebook partners with blood donation centers around the world to help increase the number of donors by connecting people who want to help donate with opportunities to give.

Facebook launched a new Blood Donations feature in India to make it easier for people to sign up to be blood donors and to connect people and organizations with the blood donations they need, right from Facebook. To launch this life-saving tool, we developed a global campaign to tell the stories of real blood donors and the people they saved. The combination of authentic storytelling and product integration engaged and educated users on how to access and use the life-saving Blood Donations feature.
